The fifth transnational meeting of the EBreast project took place on March 22-23, in Lausanne, a city in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. This meeting was hosted by the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland (HESAV). The meeting started with a warm welcome by the University Administration. The two meeting days were dedicated to an overview and review of the last two e-learning modules to be produced in this project, followed by a discussion about minor alterations to the modules. The first meeting day included also a presentation about breast cancer genetics and genetic counselling that was prepared by HESAV nursing students. In addition, the meeting involved some final specifications regarding the intensive course to be carried out on May 14-18, 2018 in Tartu Health Care College and preliminary planning of the very last transnational project meeting to be held in June, in Tartu, Estonia. The local specificities that we enjoyed this time involved the fascinated views of Lac Léman and the Alps, local food, and last but not least, various kinds of Swiss chocolate.

Two oral presentations about the EBreast project activities were made at the European Congress of Radiology 2018 in Vienna. Anja Henner from Oulu University of Applied Sciences made a presentation “Mammography performance and quality assurance in five European countries”, and Eija Metsälä from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences made a presentation titled “Eyes on the future of mammography education and training: what needs to be focused on to match the demands of the clinical practice”. Both presentations were followed by a number of questions from the audience, mostly about the availability of the learning materials being prepared within the EBreast project. ESR members can find the presentations online on ECR 2018 http://ecronline.myesr.org/ecr2018/
